Designed in 1924 by Gordon Russell, this oak single bed quietly exhibits the ideals of arts and crafts during the period.

Gordon's workshop was within walking distance of his fathers hotel, The Lygon Arms. The Hotel was furnished with some of his sons designs, including beds. During their stay, Patrons often put in orders for furniture based on designs in their rooms or those placed throughout the communal areas of the hotel.
