Website Products

All items other then those manufactured for sale are vintage, antique, one-off, or pre-used. These items are sold as-is, please review the item descriptions and photographs carefully before purchasing. Almasy holds no accountability for the life span of items purchased.

Reservations

Given the unique one-off nature of the items sold by Almasy, we are unable to put items on reserve unless otherwise agreed.

Payment

For purchase agreements made outside of the website, payment is due within 48 hours of receiving an invoice. 

Items will be recorded as sold only upon verification of payment. Should payment not be received within the specified time frame, the items will be reclassified as available for sale.

Shipping

Unless otherwise agreed Almasy is unable to post purchased items for clients, where agreed no liability for any damages or loss sustained in transit via third parties is taken by Almasy.

Transit partner recommendations can be provided upon request. The organization of timely shipping or pick up (see further information regarding storage guidelines below) is the responsibility of the purchaser. Packaging of purchased items is the responsibility of the purchaser or their designated shipper. Almasy is not liable for any damages or loss sustained in transit via third parties. Items will not be released for delivery or collection until payments have been received.

Storage

Storage is complimentary for 30 calendar days after receipt of payment for purchased items. Items stored for clients longer then 14 days are no longer able to return goods.

If you do not collect your items within the 30-day period, storage fees will be applied unless you have submitted a written request for an extension and received prior approval from Almasy. 

  • £50 per month for small objects 

  • £75  per month for medium objects

  • £100 per month for furniture

Returns

Clients have a period of 14 calendar days to exercise their right of withdrawal, in accordance with the provisions of Article L. 121-21 of the Consumer Code. This period begins from the receipt of the purchased item.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must notify us of your decision to withdraw by emailing shop@almasy.co.uk within the 14 day calendar window.

Clients are responsible for the cost of returning the products. Items must be returned no later than 14 calendar days following the communication of your intent to withdraw from your purchase. 

Once we receive your returned product(s), we will inspect them and notify you of the status of your refund. If your return is approved, we will process the refund to your original payment method within 14 days of receiving the returned goods.
